Honorary chairman of America's bid to host the World Cup in 2018 or 2022, Clinton sported a U.S. soccer jacket in his VIP box while the Rolling Stones frontman bundled up in a scarf.
Journalists Wolf Blitzer and Katie Couric and Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant were also in the VIP section.
The presence of the former president and icons wasn't enough to inspire the American squad as Ghana eliminated the U.S. by a score of 2-1 in extra time.
