Here's what's happening around the National Football League on Monday, June 28, 2010:• NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will speak with Titans quarterback Vince Young "sometime in the next few weeks" about Young's recent fight at a strip club, FOXSports.com reported.
"Obviously, we've got to look and see whether there was any violation of policy," Goodell told FOXSports.com, then added that Young is unlikely to face a suspension as a first-time offender of the NFL's personal conduct policy.
The same cannot be said for Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, whose birthday party last week was marred by a shooting. Vick has said that he had left the scene long before the incident occurred and voluntarily met with police officers Monday to discuss what happened.
Still, Vick's prior missteps could lead to discipline from the league. Goodell told FOXSports.com that the NFL is "still gathering the facts" in Vick's situation.

Injury Ward
• Jets secondary coach Dennis Thurman told ESPN New York that newly acquired defensive back Antonio Cromartie sat out some plays at the team's minicamp because of "somewhat of a hip issue." Cromartie's also been dealing with a sore hamstring, but the hip problem could be of greater concern for the Jets. Cromartie fractured his hip during the 2008 season, then played through that entire year before revealing the injury.
