Police in Massillon, Ohio, arrested a drunk driving suspect who shares his name with Disney's most famous waterfowl.
Law enforcement officials say 51-year-old Donald Norman Duck was intoxicated when he pulled into a drive-through pizzeria around 5:25 p.m. Saturday and repeatedly bumped the car ahead of him, ABC 5 reports.
According to the driver who was struck, Donald Duck then stuck his head out the window and shouted: "Sorry dude, something must be wrong with my brakes."
But the collision ruffled the other driver's feathers, so she called 911.
When police arrived on the scene, it became clear that Duck was down on his luck.
Officers described the suspect as smelling of alcohol and having red eyes. While searching for his driver's license, they said, Duck pulled out a bag that appeared to contain marijuana. He then reportedly confessed to officers that he had had a few drinks, smoked some marijuana, and took some prescription medication before getting behind the wheel.
After allegedly failing a sobriety test, Donald Duck was taken into custody.
Police in the Ohio town say they're familiar with Donald Duck's antics.
"He's a frequent flier," Capt. Joe Herrick of the Massillon Police Department told Fox 13."He's got multiple previous DUIs, multiple previous no operator's license and operating under suspension, so he's not that good a driver."
According to Dumb as a Blog, Donald Duck has four previous drunken driving convictions.
And this time, he might be a sitting duck. Donald Duck is facing a felony charge of operating a vehicle while impaired, and misdemeanor charges of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Disney's beloved Donald Duck character is famous for his garbled voice and short temper -- and at times his reckless driving.
A spokesman for Disney could not be reached for comment on its character's automotive record in time for AOL News' deadline.
