Although Georgia wide receiver A.J. Green has denied attending a recently celebrated Miami South Beach party hosted by an agent, NCAA officials are expected to interview him in regards to his connection with the host and event.

Georgia associate athletic director Claude Felton told reporters on Wednesday that the NCAA has requested permission to conduct an inquiry on campus.

Felton told The Associated Press that Georgia will fully cooperate with the investigation and that the NCAA has asked that athletic association officials, coaches and student athletes decline to comment until the inquiry is completed.

Green, considered one of the top three wide receivers in the country, told Sports Illustrated that he did not attend the party held over Memorial Day weekend in Miami.

"I never went to South Beach," Green told SI.com.
