NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Kasey Kahne sat down with me Friday for 25-minute live chat with racing fans from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, site of Sunday's Brickyard 400.We had a ton of questions right from the start and Kasey talked about everything from his favorite meal before a race (turkey sandwich) to his least favorite thing to do (the dishes).
Thanks to all the fans who sent in questions and comments.
Kahne, driver of the No. 9 Budweiser Ford for Richard Petty Motorsports, is currently ranked 17th in the Sprint Cup Series championship, 120 points out of the top-12 driver line-up that will qualify for the Chase for the Championship.
Indianapolis is like a second home to Kahne, who moved to the city after high school graduation in Enumclaw, Wa., to compete in the USAC Midget and Silver Crown ranks and pursue his racing career. He has four top-10 finishes in six races at the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway, including a career best runner-up to good friend and fellow open-wheel convert Tony Stewart in 2005.
Here's a replay of our live chat from Indy.
