How Will Tropical Storm Bonnie Affect Cleanup in the Gulf?

(July 23) -- Tropical Storm Bonnie (which was downgraded to a tropical depression this afternoon) has brought the cleanup and well-kill efforts at the BP oil spill site to a standstill. On Thursday, Incident Commander Thad Allen ordered nearly all the boats and rigs working at the site to evacuate the area. Progress on the relief well that BP is drilling to kill the leaking well has been put on hold for the time being. The storm could potentially delay BP's kill operation by 10 to 12 days, BP Senior Vice President Kent Wells said Thursday.
