Kim Kardashian claims that she is living her life -- the love portion, at least -- much more privately now. In fact, according to the New York Daily News, she remains single despite claims of her canoodling with Dallas Cowboys receiver Miles Austin.
However, that didn't stop Kim from making a few headlines by offering some kind words to ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush, the New Orleans Saints' running back who has had NCAA sanctions levied against himself and his alma mater, USC. Bush allegedly accepted money from a professional agent and a place to live while still in college.
"I'm sure he's going through a really hard time," Kardashian told Ryan Seacrest, according to the Daily News. "And knowing the type of person he is, I'm sure that he would do anything in his power to make it up to the school ... and the kids playing there now who are ineligible to play in the championships."
Thanks to Bush's indiscretion, the Trojans have lost 10 scholarships in each of the next three seasons and their postseason eligibility for the next two. USC gave back Bush's Heisman Trophy -- the one belonging to the school -- while Bush may have to cough up the one he owns.
USC will also be stripped of all victories in games that Bush played in during the 2004 season, when USC won the BCS national championship, as well as all wins in 2005, when they lost to Texas in the BCS championship game.
Kardashian, reality TV star and fashionista, had a high-profile off-again, on-again relationship with Bush for about three years. Since her split with Bush in March 2010, she has been linked to Austin and Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.
"I'm having a good time, meeting some really great people and trying to live my life ... probably a lot more private than I was before," she said in the interview, according to the newspaper.
It's all relative, I guess.
