As expected, Oakland's signing of Rolando McClain on Thursday started the first-round dominoes falling, as teams scrambled to get their top picks signed for the start of their respective training camps. Four of the five offensive lineman selected in April's draft signed Friday, highlighted by fourth overall selection Trent Williams, who became the highest pick to put his name on an NFL contract
Here's a closer look at the day of deals:
• The Redskins and Williams agreed to a six-year, $60 million contract. Williams, whose contract includes $36.75 in guaranteed money, was in uniform for Friday's practice, which bodes well for the Redskins, who expect the 6-4, 315-pound former Oklahoma All-American to start at left tackle right away.
• The Chiefs made No. 5 pick Eric Berry the highest-paid safety in NFL history, signing him to a six-year deal that has a maximum value of $60 million with $34 million guaranteed, Jason LaConfora of NFL.com reported.
• The 49ers signed both of their first-round offensive linemen, No. 11 pick Anthony Davis and No. 17 pick Mike Iupati. According to the Associated Press, Davis, an offensive tackle from Rutgers, signed a five-year deal worth up to $26.5 million, with $15.954 guaranteed. Iupati, a guard from Idaho, signed a five-year, $18.25-million contract, with $10.8 million guaranteed, Rotoworld reported.
• The Texans signed former 20th overall pick Kareem Jackson, Aaron Williams of the National Football Post reported.
• The Packers signed No. 23 pick Bryan Bulaga to a five-year deal worth $14.75 million, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported. Baluga, an offensive tackle out of Iowa, will receive $8.76 million in guaranteed money, according to the report. Green Bay opens camp Saturday.
• The Saints signed former Florida State cornerback Patrick Robinson, the final pick in the first round. Terms were not released.
