Thomas, the No. 22 pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, will receive $9.35 million guaranteed on his rookie contract with a max value of $15.5 million, according to Lindsay Jones of The Denver Post.Thomas was the final unsigned member of Denver's draft class.
On Thursday, the Broncos signed their other 2010 first-rounder, QB Tim Tebow. The 25th overall pick in April, Tebow received a five-year contract worth $8.7 million guaranteed and $33.5 million max.
Thomas was a standout at Georgia Tech, but slipped down draft boards over concerns about his route running and his extensive experience operating out of an option offense. Still, the Broncos are hopeful that he can be an impact player for them out of the gate, despite Denver's depth chart being stocked with veteran receivers.
