People keep making jokes about how the pitching is really great this year because all the home run hitters had to stop doing PEDs and ended up these noodle-armed 35-year olds. I think the umpires are the ones who stopped doing steroids, because Major League Baseball has literally hired a passel of opossum to call the games.

Gaby Sanchez and the Florida Marlins are the latest victims of bad umpiring this season, and if you haven't seen what happened, jump over to Marc Lancaster's post and take a look. If you want to know what happened but don't want to wade through 70+ comments of people calling each other moron for even the slightest reasons, he hit a ball down the line and the ump called it foul, costing them the game. The ball may as well have banked off of second base, because Bob Davidson was calling it foul no matter what.

The best part (and you do have to watch the video for this) is the Fox Sports Florida announce team absolutely losing their sh** over the call. They get paid to talk, comment, and analyze, but for this game they got paid to scream into the microphone like me getting killed by the Killer Croc in Arkham Asylum over and over and throwing my controller.
