Come Monday, ESPN will unveil an overhaul of its all-sports news channel, ESPNEWS, with two new shows as well as the addition of two blocks of "SportsCenter."

The Worldwide Leader announced that it will premiere "The Beat," a half-hour show hosted by Bram Weinstein, airing each weeknight at 6 p.m. ET and re-airing at 6:30 p.m. As described in a release, the show, whose title is designed to play off both the concept of a reporter's beat and a heartbeat -- "the pulse of sports" -- will feature stories, highlights and interviews as well as standing segments, all with the word "beat" in them.

The channel will also unveil "Highlight Express," a half-hour show of highlights and sound bites that will air essentially throughout the day when "SportsCenter" and "The Beat" don't air and frankly sounds a lot like the current ESPNEWS format.

As for the daily ESPNEWS "SportsCenter," ESPN announced that Cindy Brunson and Robert Flores will anchor the 3-6 p.m. show, while Linda Cohn and Kevin Negandhi will host the 8-11 p.m. program.
