Just in time for the start of the regular season, FanHouse is unveiling its 2010 NFL Season preview. From the AFC East on Aug. 29 to the NFC West on Sept. 8, we'll take a team-by-team and division-by-division look at the upcoming NFL campaign.
Each team in the league will be rated on a 50-point scale -- which we call the "Heat Index" -- and be assigned a score of 1-10 (10 being the highest) in five key categories: Offense, Defense, Special Teams, Coaching and Intangibles. The teams that tally the highest Heat Index scores are your favorites, while those at the other end of the spectrum can be considered heavy underdogs.
Last season's Heat Index correctly predicted eight of 12 playoff teams, as well as five of eight division winners. How will we do with this year's predictions? Only time will tell ...
