Roger Federer has repeated the same phrase throughout the summer in response to his 'William Tell' serve: "A magician doesn't tell how his tricks work." Well, on Monday night, the world got a glimpse of another magic trick out of Federer. If you thought that his between the legs shot during last year's semifinal match at the U.S. Open against Novak Djokovic was an anomaly, think again.
Federer performed the exact same shot, in almost identical fashion in his first-round match on Monday night under the lights at Arthur Ashe stadium in his victory against Brian Dabul of Argentina 6-1, 6-4, 6-2.
Last year wasn't the first time Federer hit his 'tweener' shot. But to do it two years in a row under the lights in New York is something magical.
Take a look for yourself and watch the magician in action.
