Usain Bolt, the world's fastest man, wants to take his talents to the pitch. The three-time Olympic gold medalist wrote in his autobiography set to be released on Thursday that he'd like to play for English Premier League's Manchester United.
"Ideally, if I was to play football, I'd sign for my favorite team -- Manchester United," he writes. "People say it's not realistic but nobody has seen me play so you never know. If (Manchester United coach) Alex Ferguson saw me in one of those charity matches he might think I could replace (United midfielder) Ryan Giggs."
Bolt, 24, recently trained with a soccer team in Munich and the club reportedly praised his skills.
"There are plenty of examples of players with blistering pace but unfortunately they don't know how to use it to the best of their abilities," former Manchester United player and current Fulham coach Mark Hughes told the wire service NewsCore. "And I would imagine Usain comes under that banner."
