There used to be a time when a recap, a couple of features, and some quotes from the midweek coach's press conference would be enough content for a newspaper looking to keep its readers occupied until the next game.

Now, with UStream, Twitter, Facebook and, it appears, Chatroulette, athletes can bypass the media filter and talk directly to their fans. Apparently that also includes dirty talk.

According to Deadspin, someone resembling Patriots rookie linebacker Brandon Spikes (and it's worth stressing: there is no proof that it really is Spikes) appears in the buff with a woman her undies in their Chatroulette get-together.

More via HuffPo:
In the video, a naked man is seen with a scantily clad woman in what is said to be a hotel room. The two proceed to engage in oral sex. According to Deadspin's emailer, the man does more than showcase himself to his Chatroulette partner -- he also communicates via the written word. "let's play don't be shy" and "you make me wanna like your p---y," he allegedly writes.
Too much information, for sure. If nothing else, it's a reminder that, fair or not, professional athletes don't really have private lives. So what might have been overlooked (or more likely, never known) 10 years ago, is now readily accessible to everybody via the internet. And while we don't yet know if that really was Spikes in the video, it wouldn't be the first time an athlete ended up naked on the Al Gore Machine (other obvious examples).
