Nike Pro Combat uniforms are going to be worn by 10 college football teams this season, and they are set to be revealed at an event in New York City on Wednesday.

Ohio State, Alabama, Florida, Boise State, Miami, Oregon State, Virginia Tech, TCU, West Virginia and Pittsburgh will all sport these unis at least once this season.

To get a look at the uniforms, go check out USA Today's photo gallery, where you can view each individual one. Among the differences from the regular uniforms, Nike told USA Today the Pro Combat line is 37 percent lighter than normal garb.

Notice Ohio State will have a red helmet -- a sight Buckeyes' fans are certainly not used to seeing. It is a "salute" to the 1942 national championship team that wore red leather helmets. Also, Virginia Tech will don all black uniforms Monday against Boise State in easily the biggest game of the opening weekend. What makes this odd is that black is not an official color of the Hokies. According to the Tech website, this color draws inspiration from the school's Corps of Cadets.
