A poll released Friday by Public Policy Polling (PPP) found that only 6 percent of Alaskans polled had a favorable view of the father of Sarah Palin's grandchild. And that could have a heavy impact on both his campaign for mayor of Wasilla and the reality show that sparked his campaign for mayor of Wasilla.
As the polling organization put it (somewhat oddly) on its blog, "Who besides like Hitler or Osama Bid Laden do you think we could poll who would be less popular in some particular state?" He's even less popular than John Edwards in North Carolina!
Interestingly, the group found that Johnston was more popular with Democrats (15 percent viewed him favorably) than Republicans and independents (4 percent of each thought he was all right.) Still, overall, with the Wasilla son's overall favorability ratings in the toilet, PPP founder Dean Debnam thinks Levi might be a tad overexposed.
Meanwhile, back in Fantasyland (aka, the part of Alaska where common sense seems to have picked up and left), 11 percent of people polled said they could see Russia from their houses, and 7 percent weren't sure. (Ed note: To be fair, Russia sometimes does dress up to impersonate Canada.)
No word on how this will effect baby mama and two-time fiancee Bristol Palin as she attempts to jiggle her way to the top of "Dancing With the Stars," but one thing we do know thanks to TMZ: she didn't learn any (dance) moves from Levi.
