Opinion: Alan Colmes Responds to His 'Fan Mail'

(Sept. 3) -- Here, and there, someone occasionally takes slight exception to something I say or write. I posted something, for example, about a gathering on a mall in D.C. and how, at the very moment it was to begin, a flock of Canada geese flew overhead, and what a beautiful, miraculous, sign that must have been from up above, as stated by the rally's organizer. I don't know how those geese got past immigration, but that's another issue. I also wrote something about religious freedom, some crazy concept our founders had.

Amazingly, my little articles attracted some negative comments from the good, God-loving people who didn't like what I said.

Well, Cherie, women have had reproductive freedom in America since 1972, and since then we've had leaders running things such as Ronald Reagan, Newt Gingrich and the Bushes. Too bad none of them are godly in your eyes. And you're right. You don't want to be in my shoes. They're killing me!

You and your ilk are so full of BS. You are so very good at making flat out statements of what you would like us believe are facts. And yet you never present any proof ... of ANYTHING. Sort of reminds me of Obama's claims that he is a Christian. Sure haven't seen any proof of this, either in actions or actual deeds. Or that Obama is an American...

Prove something. Anything. Do not continue to insult us by making grandiose statements and expecting us to take your word for whatever your buzz is this day, week, month or year.

Oh, and while you're at it, check the poll figures on how you and your media hack buddies are believed by REAL AMERICANS.
