Duncan Keith's Day at Wrigley
Sunday, a pair of Hawks continued the victory parade as Duncan Keith took the field at Wrigley to throw out the first pitch at the Cubs game. Later on, he was joined by teammate Dave Bolland in the press box for the traditional guest signing of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."
For the Cubs, it's been a long season. They're 59-78, way out of the playoff race, manager Lou Piniella retired and Carlos Zambrano went loco (again). So maybe this visit from a couple of Hawks was a nice reminder to Chicagoans that there's something good to look forward in the winter. Although given the passion of Cubs fans, I'm not sure they're thinking about anything other than spring training.
Below is the video of Keith's first pitch and the duos rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" set to some totally super awesome rock music. Keep your day job, guys.
