Ryan Grant Says Injury 'Not Too Major'

Packers running back Ryan Grant was just starting to get rolling midway through the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Eagles. On three straight plays the Packers gave him three straight handoffs, and he responded with gains of 13 yards, eight yards and 18 yards.

And then on that 18-yard gain, he got hurt.

"I was getting ready to kick their butt," Grant said after the game.
The ankle injury kept Grant from returning to the game, and the offense wasn't as effective when backup Brandon Jackson came in. But the good news is that Grant says he doesn't think his ankle injury will slow him down for long.

"I don't think it's too major," Grant said. "We'll see how it goes. But if you look at my track record, I don't miss too many games."

That's good news. After Aaron Rodgers, Grant is the Packers' most important offensive player. They can't afford to have Grant miss too many games.
