Vince Young's not going to lobby for the Heisman Trophy five years later.

That being said, Young told ESPN on Monday morning following the Tennessee Titans' opening-game victory over the Oakland Raiders that if Heisman officials sent him the award he wouldn't send the trophy back.

Young, who declined to comment on the issue last week, spoke to ESPN's Hannah Storm on Monday morning about the possibility of receiving the trophy if it is taken away from New Orleans Saints and former Southern California running back Reggie Bush, who won the award in 2005.

"I definitely want it, I definitely want it,'' Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean quoted Young -- the 2005 runner-up for the Heisman -- as saying via ESPN. "But he won it fair and square definitely, and it's much respect to Reggie, man. He had a great career and he's already won a Super Bowl before me. I'm already mad about that.

"But at the same time I am definitely happy for him, man, and he is definitely the Heisman Trophy winner for that year. But if they send it over to me I am not going to say no to it."
