Fulton County officials in Georgia have dismissed a restraining order against former NFL tight end Shannon Sharpe, TMZ reported. Previously, a woman named Michele Bundy had been granted the restraining order after accusing Sharpe of raping and stalking her.Bundy told police, according to the restraining order, that Sharpe forced her to have sex with him, made multiple threats and stalked her.
Sharpe received the dismissal notice in regards to the restraining order on Wednesday afternoon, according to TMZ. Sharpe, who served as an NFL analyst on CBS' pre-game show "NFL Today" took a leave of absence when allegations broke. It is unclear whether Sharpe will return to his duties at CBS.
Sharpe has not been arrested and Fulton County officials told TMZ that there are no further investigations at this time.
