Week 3 presents another slew of great starts for the usual suspects as our top seven matchups come from routinely drafted team defenses. Leading the pack, expect the Minnesota pass rush to have its way with Shaun Hill and the Detroit Lions. While Detroit's offense now has some firepower, it's safe to assume the Vikings will log plenty of sacks and likely a couple of turnovers.
Next, the aggressive Steelers defense looks as tough and opportunistic as ever. The 2-0 Buccaneers get tested this week and the Steel Curtain wins this battle.

Finally, watch as Baltimore bounces back this week on both sides of the ball. The defense holds the league's second-best total for yards allowed per game at just under 215, and this week playing at home, the Ravens finally add the exclamation point by putting some turnovers in the equation.

• We're going out on a limb this week with the top spot-start recommendation, as it's definitely not one that will jump out at you. Try the Rams at home against the Redskins. Couple the league's 12th-best defense in terms of points allowed with the Redskins' inability to convert a third down and you're in business. Plus, the Rams have forced six fumbles and nabbed two interceptions through two games.
• If the Rams seem too crazy for your blood, another potential play is Cincinnati at Carolina. The Panthers offense is in the bottom five teams in the league for both yardage and points per game. The Bengals should have no problem keeping this trend alive.
• In last place, call it another gut feeling but given the keys to the bus, Michael Vick and the Eagles are going to torch the Jaguars defense.
