After the year Darrelle Revis had in 2009, and the week Champ Bailey had in Week 1 of 2010, it would be wise to avoid either if your No. 1 receiver is playing the Jets or the Broncos. Luckily for Brandon Marshall and Reggie Wayne owners, both shutdown cornerbacks are dealing with injuries. Bailey may play, but he won't be in any capacity to lock down Wayne.

Marshall owners may be a little bit underwhelmed by their No. 1 receiver after two games. The Miami receiver has 124 yards through two games and hasn't scored yet this season. In those two games, Miami held the lead for most of the 60 minutes played, so there was no need to do much but rely on the running game. The Dolphins aren't going to have that luxury most weeks, and I'd expect Marshall to start ramping up his production starting in Week 3. He'll be matched up against Antonio Cromartie instead of Revis, and it's a matchup Marshall owned when the two players were in the AFC West.

• With two of the league's top corners dealing with injuries, are there any cornerbacks we should consider avoiding in Week 3? Absolutely. Leon Hall held Randy Moss to 59 yards on five catches and no TDs in Week 1 and didn't let Anquan Boldin top 40 yards in Week 2. With a new rookie QB under center and facing Hall and the Bengals this week, Steve Smith of the Panthers shouldn't expect to have much opportunity to shine.

• Your top five receivers after two weeks of play are Miles Austin, Hakeem Nicks, Reggie Wayne, Kevin Walter and Austin Collie. Nothing surprising about the first three names, especially if you were like me and figured Nicks would break out in his second year. But Walter and Collie have turned into must-starts for the immediate future as well. Both have caught TDs in each week of play, and both have at least one dominant yardage game to their credit. Use them until they give you reason not to do so.

• Looking over the rest of the top 10 receivers after two weeks, both Mark Clayton and Nate Washington stick out as guys you may want to try selling high. Clayton should be in for another nice week against Washington, a team that has surrendered over 300 yards and two TDs in two games to teams' No. 1 receivers. Granted, those two WRs doing the damage were Austin and Andre Johnson, but there still is potential for Clayton to have a nice game.

• Darrius Heyward-Bey has some serious sleeper buzz going into Week 3. Entering halftime of the Raiders' 16-14 win over the Rams in Week 2, Jason Campbell had completed just one pass to Heyward-Bey for six yards. Bruce Gradkowski replaced Campbell at the half, and DHB went on to catch five balls for 74 yards in the second half. With Gradkowski back under center in Week 3, Oakland's two key receivers get a nice bump in value.
