In August, after nine forgettable months that saw Tiger Woods' wholesome image and near-perfect golf game reduced to rubble, the world's best player and his wife, Elin Nordegren, finalized their divorce. Many figured it would be the turning point in Woods' career -- putting his personal troubles behind him and focusing solely on dominating golf like he had for virtually his entire life.
But according to a Radar Online report, Woods' issues might not yet be in the rear view. Allegedly, one of his former mistresses, porn star Devon James, is meeting with adult film producer Vivid Entertainment in the hopes of selling a Tiger Woods sex tape.
"The tape is 62 minutes long and 37 minutes of it is us having sex," James told RadarOnline.com Wednesday of the tape, which was supposedly filmed in 2008. "We are flying to Los Angeles today to meet with Vivid about selling the tape."
It's worth noting that James has a history of lying. In June, she claimed that Woods fathered her nine-year-old son. James' mother later refuted the accusation, saying that her daughter is a "pathological liar" and that she knows exactly who the real father is. "[My daughter is] only out to lie, steal and cheat. ... All she is looking for is to get money from [Woods]."
"This sex tape is worth at least $350,000," James told Radar. She is threatening to self-release the tape if Vivid won't buy it.
When contacted by Radar about the alleged meeting, Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch said, "We can't comment at this time."
In January, TMZ reported that Hirsch admitted a woman approached him about selling a Tiger Woods sex tape that was supposedly filmed at the same time as James' alleged tape, and that at the time Vivid was trying to ID the people in that video.
Meanwhile, Woods is on the other side of the Atlantic in Wales preparing for the 2010 Ryder Cup.
