A look at a few of the best quotes from Around the AFC South Wednesday, the first day of weekly media availability of the NFL . . .

FROM HOUSTON TEXANS (2-1) . . .
This week's opponent: Oakland Raiders (1-2).
Game site: Oakland.
Head Coach Gary Kubiak: "Our focus last week was good. I could see that our details are better (Wednesday). If you're made of the right stuff then it should be. We had a couple of nice weeks and a lot of good things said about us, but it goes away real quick. So, we go to refocus and go on the road to see what each guy is made of and the team as a whole. It's a big test for us."
Safety Bernard Pollard: "We know and understand that this is the game of football. You win some, you lose some. Obviously, last week we weren't on our game. That game put so many things in perspective for us and it takes something like that to kind of get us off that high. . . . We're going to have a test Sunday, but I think we're ready to stand up for that and we're ready to kind of conquer that."

FROM INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (2-1) . . .
This week's opponent: Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2).
Game site: Jacksonville.
Defensive end Dwight Freeney: "We feel pretty good. We obviously would love to be 3-0 like we're accustomed to being at this time but you know it's a long season and we're still getting some things together. We kind of take that 'new game' approach, this is a new game, a new week, what happened last week doesn't matter."
Quarterback Peyton Manning: "There's no question that it is an important game because it's a division game. Not that we don't emphasize the others, but we really stress the importance of these division games because we have to win, especially the ones on the road. We know how important it is, and it is important for both teams."

FROM JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (1-2) . . .
This week's opponent: Indianapolis Colts (2-1).
Game site: Jacksonville.
Head Coach Jack Del Rio: "I talked to our guys today about the importance of recognizing that this league is full of pressure, and that's not your enemy. Your enemy is stress, and stress occurs when you're not prepared and when you are prepared you should relish the opportunity, embrace the opportunity, and that's where we are as a football team. We need to understand. We have paid a big price. We are a football team that has prepared itself. We need to let it loose and play, and so that's my message to our group. I believe in it with all my heart and I think as a football team we'll get another opportunity Sunday to start doing that."
Quarterback David Garrard: "Whenever you're coming off of two tough losses you definitely have a different level of urgency. Guys are definitely dialed in now. We have to make sure that we get things turned around."

FROM TENNESSEE TITANS (2-1) . . .
This week's opponent: Denver Broncos (1-2).
Game site: Nashville.
Quarterback Vince Young on playing against a 3-4 defense (via Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean): "It depends on how my preparation is. It all goes back to preparation. I am just preparing myself and making sure I am prepared to play, just like the rest of the guys on offense and defense. A good team is coming in here this week."
Head Coach Jeff Fisher: "We're going to try and win this ballgame and do whatever it takes to win, whether it's run it or throw it or both. It's probably going to be a combination of both, and we have to do it very well because we're playing a very talented, explosive opponent."
