Kobe Bryant and LeBron James are often featured in the argument over who is the NBA's best player, even though the comparison isn't really fair to either of them. Still, fans cling to Bryant's rings or LeBron's physical gifts as key components of their case, despite the fact that we'll never have a definitive answer to the head-to-head question.

The only way to truly settle things would be on the court, in a one-on-one battle that will obviously never happen. But what if it did? Who would win in a friendly game of one-on-one between Kobe Bryant and LeBron James?

If you ask Kobe -- and the folks at Hoopsfix did exactly that -- it's not even close.

"I'd win, I'd win," Bryant said. "That's what I do. One-on-one is ... that's easy for me, you know. Playing one-on-one is how I grew up playing -- it's like, my thing. LeBron is more like a Magic Johnson, he's a great passer and plays an all-around game. At the core of me, I'm a one-on-one player. I'd do that in my sleep."
