I don't watch a lot of reality television but you don't have to to understand that it's not only a means for those desperate for fame to get "their shot," it's also a vehicle for the formerly famous looking for redemption.
That brings us to Jose Canseco, the former Major League All-Star and one half of the bash brothers, who later named names in a book about steroids and baseball. After his MLB career, Canseco did everything from boxing to bouncing around the independent leagues. And now, according to TMZ, he will appear on the next season of "Celebrity Apprentice."
Not sure what business lessons Canseco has learned in a professional life that consisted mostly of baseball and the occasional boxing match, but, hey, as Don King likes to say, "Only in America." Which explains the other contestants who will join Canseco: Lil Jon, Richard Hatch and Niki Taylor.
Should be ... well, something.
