LANDOVER, Md. -- The Redskins announced that two-time Pro Bowl tight end Chris Cooley suffered a concussion and would not return to Sunday night's game against the Colts after leaving in the second half.

Cooley had five catches for 37 yards Sunday night, prior to the injury, running his season totals to 28 catches and 340 yards. Fred Davis takes over for Cooley.

Cooley missed the last nine games of the 2009 season after suffering a broken ankle. He was placed on injured reserve in late November after trying to rehab the injury and return.

Entering Sunday, Cooley had 23 catches for 203 yards and two touchdowns in 2010.
