
The Houston Texans organization held its annual "Salute to the Military" day on Sunday during their home victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. And I guess the best way to honor our troops' service to the country is to dress the Texans cheerleaders in military hottie outfits and dance. America, what a country!
Military cheerleaders weren't the only way the troops were honored. Pregame, the Army's Golden Knights parachuted into the stadium while America's Got Talent winner, Neil E. Boyd sang "God Bless the USA." During the National Anthem, troops held a large American flag shaped like the United States. At the half, the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon demonstrated their skills on the field. Throughout the game, individual troops were honored.
I guess if cheerleaders are doing their part to honor the military, that's their way to do it. Last week they raised awareness of breast cancer by wearing pink hot pants and go-go boots with what could only be best considered a visual aid:
