Justin Bieber's moving up in the world. First he beats Shaquille O'Neal in some staged pick-up basketball, then he calls out Tom Brady through song. And now he's sitting courtside at the Lakers game ... sporting a Lakers championship ring. Specifically: coach Phil Jackson's championship ring. Turns out, Lakers executive vice president Jeanie Buss -- who also happens to be the daughter of team owner Jerry Buss and Jackson's ladyfriend -- loves Bieber. So much so that she convinced Jackson to let the 16-year-old pop star wear it during Tuesday night's season opener.
So, yeah, that happened. All that's left is for Phil and Justin to sing a duet.
In unrelated news, I'm pretty sure that among all NBA front-office types and coaches, Jeanie Buss wins for best Twitter photo. Stan Van Gundy, obviously, would run a close second if he were on Twitter.
