There was plenty of mayhem during Philadelphia's 6-1 victory over the New York Islanders on Saturday night, including the two teams combining for 120 penalty minutes.

Helping to contribute to that total were a pair of fights between Zenon Konopka and Daniel Carcillo, the first of which was a marathon minute-and-a-half bout early in the second period.

Adding to the chaos, Philadelphia's Danny Briere was ejected with one minute to play in regulation for cross-checking Frans Nielsen, resulting in another skirmish that involved Islanders goaltender Rick Dipietro getting a two-minute minor for leaving his crease. The game also included a rare triple-minor to the Islanders Trevor Gillies for roughing, while Trent Hunter was also ejected for boarding Andrej Meszaros.

In other words, it was just another night in the NHL's Atlantic Division.
