Giants World Series celebrationThe San Francisco Giants parade for winning the 2010 World Series is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, according to local media outlets.

NBC Bay Area posted a report Monday evening stating a Giants parade would be held Wednesday on Market Street if the Giants won Game 5 of the World Series Monday night. The Giants did just that, winning 3-1 behind a masterful pitching performance from Tim Lincecum, to claim the franchise's first title since moving to San Francisco in 1958.

SFGate.com reported after the final out that the Giants parade will start at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Montgomery and Washington streets and go southbound on Montgomery to Market Street before continuing west on Market Street to Civic Center Plaza. The parade will replicate the route taken by the team when they came to San Francisco from New York in 1958.
