Zenyatta will try to end her career a perfect 20-0 at the Breeders' Cup Classic, and oddsmakers like her chances. The mare was installed as an early 8-5 favorite for Saturday's race. Zenyatta, the oldest horse in the race at 6 years old, will start from the No. 8 post for the 1 1/4-mile race.
Last year, she came from behind to win on the synthetic surface at Santa Anita. This year's race will take place on the dirt, however, at Churchill Downs.
The winner will take home $3 million of the $5 million purse. Blame was installed as the second favorite at 9-2, with Quality Road the 5-1 third choice.
Below, Jon Weinbach spends time with Zenyatta as she prepares for the big race.
