(Nov. 3) -- Incumbent Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet used Facebook to declare victory in his Colorado Senate race against Republican challenger Ken Buck.
"Thank you to everyone who made this victory possible," Bennet wrote in a Facebook posting.
Although the race appeared to be a toss-up on Tuesday night, by this morning, Bennet held a 7,000-vote lead on Buck, with many of the remaining uncounted ballots coming from liberal Boulder County. As a result, The Denver Post declared Bennet the victor early this morning.
