After he was hauled down by Pittsburgh's Alex Goligoski, Eriksson went into his bag of tricks and pulled out the move that was made famous by his fellow countrymen, Peter Forsberg, at the 1994 Olympics.
When it's successful, it's a thing of beauty as it leaves opposing goaltenders helplessly out of position, watching as the puck is gently dumped into an open net. And as the shootout has become a staple of the modern NHL game -- keep in mind, Eriksson's goal was a penalty shot, not the tie-breaking skills competition at the end of games -- this move has become quite popular.
