Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antwaan Randle El is one of the few quarterback-to-wide receiver conversions that's actually been a success at the NFL level. Since being selected in the second-round of the 2002 draft Randle El has become a productive NFL receiver, catching at least 40 passes five times in his career. Because of his experience as a quarterback at Indiana University, he also gives his team a unique dimension when it comes to calling trick plays: he can really throw the football.

For his career, he's completed 21-of-26 passes for 320 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions (he also threw a touchdown in Super Bowl XL during his first stint with the Steelers), good enough for a passer rating of 157.5. During Pittsburgh's 27-21 win against Cincinnati on Monday night, the Steelers called a gadget play early in the fourth quarter that resulted in Randle El connecting with Mike Wallace on a 39-yard touchdown pass for what proved to be the game-winning score.

Not only was it a nice toss by Randle El, but it was also an excellent play by Wallace to go up in coverage and come away with the football.
