The star of "South Park" and the "Coon and Friends" trilogy is renowned superhero Mintberry Crunch. But the best running subplot is the show's hatred of LeBron James and his "What Should I Do?" Nike commercials. They originally ripped the ad by comparing LeBron to the CEO of BP Oil (burn), and while they let that analogy go in the final episode of the trilogy, they didn't stop mocking James.
For instance, Cartman actually names him, as he uses "The LeBron James Method" to avoid punishment from his mother. As you might guess, yes, this method involves asking rhetorical questions until the person you're dealing with is too confused to carry on and just admits how awesome you are before walking away.
(requisite NSFW warnings for the clips below)
Of course, this method doesn't ALWAYS work. For instance, Cartman, just a few moments after busting it out on his mother, attempts to use "The LeBron James Method" on the remaining members of "Coon and Friends" (Cartman has been kicked out because he beat up Mintberry Crunch and scraped some girls face with his really creepy fingernails).
It doesn't go so well, and you don't have to be a total genius or a cartoon critic to figure out that Trey Parker and Matt Stone are pointing Kyle's profanity-filled response at 'Bron himself.
But, hey, maybe LeBron is lucky -- at least he wasn't incinerated and banished to an evil, alternate dimension by the dark Lord Cthulhu like Justin Beiber.
