FanHouse TV: Quidditch World Cup Takes Manhattan

NEW YORK -- It's a bird, it's a plane, it's ... a man on a broomstick? OK, so you didn't have to look to the sky, but the Quidditch World Cup was in Manhattan this weekend with 46 colleges and universities from all over North America competing in the game from the popular Harry Potter novels.

Unsure of what to expect, FanHouse headed to the World Cup on Saturday and Sunday to find out more. Ryan Wilson grabbed his camera and a few rolls of film for Saturday's action, while I was at the final day of competition for FanHouse TV to talk to some of the players and find out how Quidditch has leaped from a fantasy novel into the world of intercollegiate competition.
