Texans Injury Update: Owen Daniels Sits Practice With Hamstring Ailment
Schaub, the Houston Texans' starting quarterback, spent Tuesday night hospitalized and missed practice Wednesday before taking about half the repetitions in practice Thursday. Gary Kubiak, as he had said Wednesday, said Thursday he expects Schaub to play Sunday.
Schaub said he absolutely agrees.
"There is no doubt in my mind I'll be playing on Sunday," Schaub told HoustonTexans.com.
Schaub played the entire game Sunday in a 31-24 loss to Jacksonville, throwing for more than 300 yards and two touchdowns, then was hospitalized after his bursa sack flared up Tuesday.
Schaub told Nick Scurfield of HoustonTexans.com the injury has been an issue all season, but said the knee "feels good" after he received treatment Tuesday.
