And then there's the appearance on the most intense season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew yet, which, unfortunately, comes along with an "addiction to love." Rachel Uchitel, the first domino in the lengthy-enough-to-prompt-a-Tiger-movie-spoof line of mistresses, was lucky enough to land a spot on the series.
Now, it's easy to mock Uchitel for her "addiction" because pretty much everyone not named Tiger in this whole saga is out for something, and that something's usually a 16th minute of fame. But there are some pretty valid points here.
Namely, that she had an Ambien problem (as did Tiger, if you believe what he says), which is fairly indicative that she might have an addictive personality. That lends a lot more credence to the notion that she's using relationships to fill a void in her life (which, sadly, had a lot to do with losing her boyfriend during the 9/11 attacks).
The only issue is that addiction is a serious problem in the world today, and utilizing an addiction issue to promote a reality television show is pretty transparent. Even if Robert Palmer's been singing about the problem for a few decades now.
