FanHouse has complete results for the 12/9 edition of TNA Wrestling's iMPACT!, headlined by a cage match between Knockouts Mickie James and Tara, as well as a first-round match in the tournament to crown new TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions. Also on the show, Douglas Williams defends his newly-won Television Title against Abyss, the Motor City Machine Guns face Jeff Jarrett's security goons and Ink Inc. takes on the new Team 3D.Complete iMPACT! results are below.
iMPACT! Results:
1. Ink Inc. (Shannon Moore and Jesse Neal) defeated the "new" Team 3D (Brother Ray and a student portraying a fake version of Brother Devon) when Moore pinned the false Devon following a Mooregasm. After the match, Brother Ray beats up the fake Devon until the real Devon makes the save, effectively saving himself. Kind of.
- Tara lip-synchs to her theme song, mocking Mickie James' performance from a previous iMPACT. Mickie attacks her, setting up the cage match for later on in the show.
2. TNA Tag Team Champions Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) defeated Gunner and Murphy by disqualification when Murphy hit Shelley with a nightstick.
3. Knockouts Tag Team Tournament Match: The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) defeated Daffney and Sarita when Love pinned Daffney following the Lights Out.
4. Television Title Match: Champion Douglas Williams defeated Abyss with a roll-up. Not much offense for Abyss in this one. After the match, AJ Styles attacks Williams and gives him a Style Clash on the stage.
- Jeff Jarrett holds an open MMA challenge, offering any fan a cash prize if they can make him submit. Jarrett makes a fan named Mike submit to a rear naked choke.
5. Cage Match: Mickie James defeated Tara with a Lou Thesz Press from the top of the cage. Tara and Mickie both suffered serious injuries during the match, with Mickie messing up her knee and Tara injuring her arm being thrown into the cage.
