Andre Johnson-Cortland Finnegan Brawl Revisited as Titans Prepare for Texans
The Titans on Sunday will visit the Houston Texas in a rematch of a game played on Nov. 28, a game that featured a fourth-quarter brawl that started when Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan drove his hands to the face of Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson.
Johnson retaliated, and each player removed the helmet of the other.
Johnson then punched Finnegan three times, with each player being ejected and fined $25,000.
Fisher, the Titans' coach, repeatedly has credited Finnegan with restraint in the incident. He was asked Monday if he planned to remind Finnegan to "not get drawn into an altercation" Sunday.
"I don't think he got drawn into anything the last time around," John Glennon of The Tennessean reported Fisher as saying Monday. "So maybe someone needs to talk to Andre Johnson about that. Cortland is going to line up and play, to do his best to help us win and play good defense."
