In a heist somewhat reminiscent of an "Ocean's Eleven" film, Las Vegas police said a man wearing a leather jacket and a white motorcycle helmet parked his motorcycle in the valet section of the luxury hotel and casino, walked up to a craps table and pulled a gun before clearing the table of chips, Las Vegas police said in a statement.
Las Vegas Police Lt. Clint Nichols told The Las Vegas Sun that the robber, who struck at 3:50 a.m., acted quickly and may have made off with about $1.5 million in gambling chips.
Police said they were reviewing surveillance tapes but said they suspect the same man is wanted in the Dec. 9 robbery of the Suncoast casino in Las Vegas. He is described as a white male, about 5 feet, 10 inches and weighing about 220 pounds.
