Fantasy FanHouse's "Bust a Move" segment provides quick-hitting insight on the most popular adds and drops across Fleaflicker fantasy leagues when the waivers clear on Wednesday of each week. Knowing who is on the move during this period often provides a valuable edge with regard to outperforming or underperforming players, injuries and depth chart shifts. So do as the man says, "Don't just stand there..."The Adds
Ryan Torain (RB, Redskins, 2,094 adds) - It seems like just yesterday that Ryan Torain topped our list of most added waiver wire players. Since being sidelined with a hamstring injury, Torain bounced back mightily last week, leaving behind any doubts of Keiland Williams' remaining value. Torain gained 182 total yards and carried the ball an eye-popping 24 times. From here on out, Torain is the guy in Washington. He has nice starts against Dallas and Jacksonville in the next two weeks, so he may be that X-factor that helps win some fantasy championships.
Deion Branch (WR, Patriots, 1,716 adds) - With four touchdowns in just three weeks and five straight games with over 60 yards receiving, it's safe to say Deion Branch and Tom Brady are back. The tandem look totally in sync, and frankly, unstoppable. In fact, the way Tom Brady has been playing, Branch looks like one of the best options going at wide receiver.
Tim Hightower (RB, Cardinals, 1,674 adds) - After a year of uncertainty, injuries and fumbles, it appears that folks have finally thrown in the towel on Beanie Wells. Thus, the sentiment is all in favor of Tim Hightower in Arizona. Hightower -- known more for his receiving skills out of the backfield -- gained 148 yards on the ground last week and scored twice, so any doubts should be silenced. The big question is can the offense continue to move the ball, but with the Panthers and Cowboys on the docket, the matchups would say "yes."
Arizona (D/ST, Cardinals, 1,326 adds) - This is our spot start of the week in our Week 15 D/ST rankings, so it's good to see some folks taking the cues. Starting the Cardinals follows the old Lions logic: start the defense that plays the league's worst offense. Simple. There's no need to overthink it.
Owen Daniels (TE, Texans, 1,240 adds) - It's nice to see a tight end coming back from injury for a change in a season that has been littered with tight ends getting knocked out. Last week, Daniels came back after missing five weeks and immediately notched five catches and 91 yards. For folks suffering at the position, Daniels makes a great add.
The Drops
Chris Ivory (RB, Saints, 938 drops) - Just last week, Chris Ivory topped the "adds" portion of this list. Now, Pierre Thomas is back and Ivory got something called a platelet-rich plasma injection to help his chances of playing this week. I have no idea what that means, but it doesn't sound like something you want anywhere near your starting lineup at fantasy playoff time.
Steve Smith (WR, Giants, 903 drops) - Steve Smith went on the injured reserve and is officially done for the season. Nothing more to see here.
Todd Heap (TE, Ravens, 879 drops) - Todd Heap has officially been ruled out for Week 15 against the Saints due to a hamstring injury. Go grab Owen Daniels if he's available.
Ben Watson (TE, Browns, 826 drops) - Ben Watson has been the fantasy football equivalent of a butter face (everything looks good, but her face) this season, as he reels you in just in time to realize that he's inconsistent. Every time Watson posted a big game this season, he followed it with a total bust. During this latest incident, Watson followed a 10-catch, 100-yard, one-touchdown game with just one catch for eight yards. He can't be trusted.
Tennessee (D/ST, Titans, 813 drops) - The Titans started out the season on a defensive tear. They topped 10 fantasy points in every game for the first seven weeks. Lately, they've struggled to hit five. With Houston up this week, there are much better places to look for spot starts (e.g., Arizona).
