Boxing trainer Vinnie Curto's fighting career includes associations with Muhammad Ali. Curto told FanHouse that actor Mark Wahlberg considered portraying him in a movie that was to cast Robert DeNiro as his manager, the legendary Angelo Dundee. Parts of Curto's career were managed, he said, by actor Sylvester Stallone.

Curto also offered his opinion on a fictional match up between Ali and Rocky Marciano, as well as his assertions of eight-division titlist Manny Pacquiao (52-3-2, 38 knockouts) against six-time champion Floyd Mayweather (41-0, 25 KOs).

Pacquiao will defend his WBO welterweight (147 pounds) belt against three-division, five-time champion, Shane Mosley (46-6-1, 39 KOs) on May 7 in an HBO pay per view televised, Top Rank Promotions bout from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas where Pacquiao's WBC junior middleweight (154 pounds) crown will not be on the line.
