Deputies in Hebron cuffed Jennifer Marie Riegler on Dec. 18 after employees at a Royal Farms store called cops about a nude woman who had been harassing shoppers.
Store employees told police the suspect entered the store just before 9 a.m., took off all of her clothing, made lewd remarks to customers and workers, behaved in a sexually suggestive manner, then got on the floor at the foot of the doughnut display, according to WBOC.com.
Shop workers say they helped Riegler get dressed and walked her outside to wait for Wicomico County Sheriff deputies to arrive. But when police arrived on the scene, the suspect was allegedly spotted chowing down on fruit she grabbed from the store without paying.
Riegler was reportedly charged with disorderly conduct, indecent exposure, disturbing the peace, theft of less than $100, fourth-degree sex offense, malicious destruction of property valued at less than $500 and six counts of second-degree assault -- for allegedly kicking one officer in the crotch and another in the hand while they attempted put her in a patrol car.
Riegler was subdued, placed in restraints and taken to the Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury before being arrested and charged on Dec. 23.
