And today, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Gaga also played the pitchwoman, taking to the stage to unveil a pair of sunglasses that do more than just block out "Paparazzi."
"This is the first-ever pair of sunglasses that can be worn out to protect your eyes from the sun and they can also take pictures [and video]," Gaga said.
What else can you expect from the Gaga-inspired Polaroid in 2011? A wireless instant printer that can print photos directly from your cell phone as long as it has Bluetooth compatibility (except for the iPhone because of Apple's unwillingness to participate). Also in store will be a new Polaroid camera that has digital capability to store and send pictures.
The reveal was not unlike Gaga's blockbuster performances. The singer was dressed up in her usual eccentric style -- black wedding veil, matching sunglasses and a black bustier over her skintight dress -- when the new Polaroid glasses were unveiled on a nude statue that contained only tape in the shape of an X as a bra.
