Vigilante justice has its downsides.
Phoenix Jones, the fledgling superhero Surge Desk reported on last week, has suffered something of a setback. Specifically, it involves his nose, which was broken in an altercation with two alleged criminals in Lynnwood, Wash., over the weekend.
According to the New York Post, the rubber-suited, masked man known as Phoenix Jones was held at gunpoint by one of the men while the other broke his nose in a run-in with the stun-gun-carrying Jones.
The masked crusader said he called 911 and put one of the men in a headlock, but the other man drew a gun. Alas, this episode did not have the happy ending of last week's foiled a carjacking. The men who assaulted Jones got away.
