John Chick Among 3 Players Signed to Indianapolis Colts' Offseason Roster
Chick, the Canadian Football League's Most Outstanding Defensive Player in 2009 who spent this past season on the Colts' practice squad, was one of three players re-signed to the team's offseason roster recently, the National Football Post reported Tuesday.
The Colts also signed cornerback Terrence Johnson and wide receiver Chris Brooks.
All three players were on the team's practice squad last season.
Chick, who played collegiately at Utah State, originally signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent. He had 19 sacks in three seasons with the Saskatchewan RoughRiders from 2007-2009.
Brooks, who played collegiately at Nebraska, spent the last six weeks of the season on the Colts' practice squad and Johnson -- who played at California, Pa. -- was signed to the practice squad late in the season.
